The Renault F1 team has decided to cancel the first of their 2 day testing today, after rain hitted Silverstone this morning. Their testing limitation is making them to be extra cautious in spending those 20 days they have available.
The Renault F1 team signed the Heathrow Agreement that limits them to 20 days of testing between races in exchange of testing two extra hours at each Grand Prix.
As Renault encountered rain this morning at Silverstone they decided to call the testing off in order not to loose important dry conditions track time.
The team is supposed to test this week the engine spec to be used at Montreal and Fernando Alonso was supposed to be involved together with general tester Allan McNish.
