Renault keeps pushing for time

Renault F1 team keeps testing in preparation of today's qualifying effort. On the first practice todat Italian Jarno Trulli set the 6th best time just half a second slower than Kimi Raikkonen who set the best time with a 1.19.012.

Fernando Alonso finished 12th after completing only 9 laps.

Renault is showing great form in this track and is expected that they will be on the front of the grid for tomorrows race.

Jarno Trulli set yesterday the second best time marginally slower than Michael Schumacher. Alonso made a couple of mistakes and could only finish 10th on the important first qualifying session. He was confident though of improving in today's session.
