Renault F1 improved this morning as Fernando Alonso was able to set the 6th best time. After a worrying Friday Renault seems to be imprving afetr some dramatic changes to the set up.
Fernando Alonso's time of 1.23.042 is good enough for 6th position and he is a bit over 0.2 seconds away of Barrichello who set the best time earlier this morning leading Ralf Schumacher and an impresive Mark Webber.
Alonso was more optimistic this morning after heavy changes to the set up of the car: "We have gone for quite a different set-up today. It was a bit of a risk, put it paid. I now feel much more confident for qualifying and for the race."
His teammate, Jarno Trulli could only finish 13th with a time of 1.24.332.
At 2 PM local time qualifying will take place and all the eyes will be set on the possibilities of the top 4 teams plus Jaguar who is setting quite some good times.
