Fernando Alonso is fine after heavy crash!

Alonso who scored a podium on the Brazilian GP was taken ot the hospital ina a stretcher after he crashed heavily in lap 55 againt a tyre left in the tarmac after Webber's crash. The race was immediately stopped as the doctors went to aid a limping Alonso.
Alonso had a very difficult race and was running 3rd after 3 pitstops. In his first pit stop Alonso was set with dry tyres and he had to pit again the following lap in order to return to intermidiate tyres.
Later on he was handed a penalty after passing Mark Webber under yellow flags.
On his personal website, fernandoalonso.com, Alonso mentioned that he indeed saw the yellow flags and the notice of the Safety Car. He was not expecting, however, to find all the debris on the track from the Webber accident.
He thanks his fans for the support and guarantees them that he will be fit and ready for Imola in 2 weeks.
