Renault 1& 2 on qual!!!

Renault jumped to the top of the sheets this morning as it put both drivers on the front grid for tomorrow's race at Malaysia carrying out a very strong weekend.

Just as plain sensational can be described today's qualifying session for Renault's Fernando Alonso.

Running a high-precision flying lap Alonso was able to snap the pole at today's qualifying. After showing some real good form yesterday and earlier today Alonso has showed his true potential.

His first sector was not the best of the field, but sensational second and third sectors put his Renault on the top spot.

Trulli run a marvellous qual run to finish second just 0.1 secs away from Alonso. Making it an all Renault F1 front row.

Michael Schumacher, who finished 1st in yesterday's qualifying, landed the 3rd spot after a strong lap.
