Kubica stays with Renault

Highly rated polish star Robert Kubica has confirmed through his agent that he will be sticking with the Renault F1 team for the coming season. There had been rumours linking the Pole with drives for other teams such as Mercedes and Sauber.
Polish Driver Robert Kubica has confirmed that he will be staying with the Renault F1 team for the coming 2010 campaign. There had been doubts to whether the Pole would stay with the team after Renault sold a 75% stake in the team to Genii Capital investment company, a Luxemberg private investment company which is headed by Gerard Lopez.
However Robert Kubica's manager, Daniel Morelli has confirmed that the highly rated driver will be sticking with the team after clarifications had been made about the new situiations surrounding the team.
"We are going in the right direction," said Daniel Morelli. "There were no doubts, really, but it was very important we understood who were in the key roles in the team and of course also the budget - it is fundamental you have that for the updates to the car."
Daniel Morelli was asked specifically whether he would drive for the team and he told the BBC "Yes."
Kubica's manager also went on to say that they were not using the situation to get more money out of the team and that he would rather have a performing car.
