PR Tour: Festivities Kick off in Kuala Lumpur

Jacques Villeneuve, Felipe Massa and Team Principal Peter Sauber will attend promotional activities in conjunction with PETRONAS’ 10th year in Formula One. The programme starts on Saturday, 12 March, in Kuala Lumpur and comprises the following main events:

Saturday, 12 March, The Esplanade at the KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
Ceremony to commemorate PETRONAS’ 10th year in Formula One. The ceremony will be officiated by the Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi.

Sunday, 13 March, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
PETRONAS Formula One driving and pit stop demonstration.
Children from Klang Valley will be invited to see the demo and have the privilege of visiting the demo’s pit stop and garage. They will also visit the PETROSAINS & F1 Exhibition with the drivers.

Monday, 14 March, KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur
Students from Klang Valley and the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS will participate with the drivers in games.

Tuesday, 15 March, Karyaneka, Kuala Lumpur
Children of PETRONAS staff will participate in traditional games with the drivers.

Wednesday, 16 March, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
The team will attend the presentation of the 2005 PETRONAS Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix’s Grid Girls’ costumes at Suria KLCC shopping centre. In the afternoon there will be an autograph session at the Suria KLCC shopping centre.
