Credit Suisse Increases Funding

Credit Suisse logos have appeared on the engine cover of the SAUBER PETRONAS C24 at Albert Park this weekend. In the absence of a new sponsorship deal, the Swiss bank and part-owner of the team have increased their funding along with the exposure on the car.

It is not known how much additional money SAUBER has received in the deal but anything to offset the loss of Red Bull is welcome as the 2005 season gets underway. Although Credit Suisse has kicked in more funding, this could likely be the last year they will remain part owner of the team. The current whisperings behind the scene say their shares will almost certainly be sold to BMW who will partner with the team in 2006.
