Jacques Villeneuve spent his first official day of work with SAUBER PETRONAS: The Canadian was at the Formula 1 factory in Hinwil today to have his seat made for the C23.

Villeneuve, who signed a two-year contract with the Swiss team, will be testing for SAUBER PETRONAS for the first time in Barcelona on 26 November.

"The first day of work in a new team is always something very special. I´m looking forward to my first test and my first impressions of the C23 with eager anticipation. During the course of the season SAUBER PETRONAS´ performance curve was clearly pointing upwards, and of course I´m hoping that we´ll be able to continue this trend next year," the ex-World Champion said confidently.
