Sauber has confirmed that Felipe Massa will rejoin the team in 2004 where he will partner Giancarlo Fisichella. Speaking at Suzuka today team boss Peter Sauber confirmed Massa's return to his Swiss outfit just one year after being dropped.
"We had one year with Felipe," said Sauber, "he was fast but a little bit young, not a lot of experience especially on the technical side.
"Now he has improved very well with Ferrari," he added, "he's done a lot of mileage and learned a lot on the technical side and now we will drive again with him."
This means that there are now only five seats 'free' for 2004, the Jaguar seat alongside Mark Webber and both seats at Jordan and Minardi.
