Team Sauber petronas continued its three-day test at the Silverstone Circuit today. Nick Heidfeld covered 73 laps in chassis 05 to set a best time of 1:21.533.

Tomorrow Heinz-Harald Frentzen will take over the driving.

Remi Decorzent (Race Engineer) commented "Today we positively evaluated some revised aerodynamic and suspension parts in preparation for the next races.

"We have also worked with Bridgestone particularly for Silverstone and gathered comprehensive data.

"Unfortunately we suffered twice from mechanical problems which forced us to stop our test session. But despite of this we were still able to complete our programme at the end of the day.

"Tomorrow we will also do some set-up work with Heinz-Harald Frentzen and verify the data we collected so far."

Sauber Speak are attending the Silverstone test, and a full report will follow later in the week.
