John Reynolds’ hopes for 2005 are rising again

John Reynolds’ hopes are rising after undergoing an operation on his broken right leg last week, and returning home to recuperate. Fearing the worst - losing the chance to defend his British SBK title - he has now gained movement back in his right ankle, and can apply weight onto his injured leg.

John is in tip top physical condition, as he proved when he broke his collarbone last year, at Thruxton, and returned to racing in the following round at Brands Hatch - to the amazement of everyone.

At the end of this week he will be meeting with his medical consultant, when he hopes to have a decision as to whether he will be able to race at the first round - taking place at Brands Hatch in just under four weeks’ time.

John is no stranger to injury, and is not the type of guy who lets things get him down and dampen his spirits. He will be making every effort to get back to fitness, as he won’t want to be making a late start to the series.
