Although already known by just taking a look at the entry list for this year’s event, Sendo Dienza Performance have officially announced their British Superbike rider line-up of Steve Plater and Jon Kirkham.

They will be riding the Kawasaki ZX-10 machines, which have already proved their race winning capabilities during the campaign last season - with Scott Smart aboard the machine, riding for Hawk Kawasaki.

Steve Plater (shown on a 2004 Yamaha above) is now fully fit and raring to go after a disastrous time last year, being consistently injured and ending his season with yet another broken wrist.

Steve said, “I have ridden the Kawasaki in the past, with some successes, and the ZX-10 is a proven race winner. Consistency is the key to winning, and I am hungry for wins, and to get my confidence back. I have a good bike with a fantastic team backing me, but ultimately it is now down to me to get the results.”

As mentioned above, Steve’s team-mate is Jon Kirkham, who finished second in the British Superbike Cup series last year - a more than capable rider, and I feel sure that Jon will be mixing it at the front by the middle of the season.

The all new look team will be launched on 13th February in Cannes, where you can see the new team colours of black, red and chrome, which will certainly make the bikes stand out in the forthcoming BSB.
