As many suspected in earlier rumours, Régis Laconi has indeed signed up to stay at Ducati Corse, with James Toseland - 2004 World Superbike Champion.
Both will stay with the same team as this year and, with James receiving the MCN Man of the year Trophy, along with re-signing for the Ducati Corse team for 2005, it has been a brilliant week for James.

The pairing will be testing at Valencia on 16th-18th November, and will no doubt be on form when the WSBK kicks off.
James said he learned a lot this year and is feeling confident about retaining the championship next year.

Youngster James has been tipped for the top by Neil Hodgson in the past week, and becoming the youngest ever rider to win the WSBK he will certainly go on to bigger and better things.
