Panasonic-Toyota through 2009

With tobacco companies now leaving the Formula One scene, one could say Toyota has had a healthy advantage over many in the way of Panasonic. The deal with the electronics giant was due to expire at the end of next year.

However, Toyota has renewed the contract with the company to run through to the end of 2009, which will see Panasonic remaining the title sponsor for the team under the name 'Panasonic Toyota Racing.'

Toyota Motor Co and Panasonic are involved in many ways from automotive equipment and batteries...and long may their sponsor partnership continue.
