To B or not to B? That is the question…

Theres a near impossible chance that Toyota will feature in one of Shakespeare’s books. But the chance of seeing the TF105B on the racetrack this year has a higher possibility. To B or not to B has been the question on everybody’s mind, with the latest twist being its first race at the Brazilian GP.

Only a few days ago Jarno Trulli said in a recent 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' interview; ''The team have put great efforts in this car. We all expected to go forward. Unfortunately we won't drive this car the end of this season.” Thus meaning that the TF105B wasn’t going to race this season, although would be used as a pre-testing machine during the winter months.

But now, sources close to Toyota say they are continuing to develop their TF105B, most recently at Silverstone (today). If the test proves successfully and the car is reliably, we could be seeing the TF105B as soon as the Brazilian Grand Prix. Of course 2 chassis would need to be made for each driver, but the step forward could mean the difference between third and fourth in the constructors championship. An official statement is expected in the next couple of weeks.
