'B' Spec a maybe: Gass

After a report we at Totally Toyota F1 brought to you just 2 days ago, we are now recieving mixed opinions from camp Toyota. The previous report stated how John Howett has dismissed rumours of the team bringing out a 'B' spec version to the track at Silverstone.

The said car would be about half a second faster than the current TF105, and would be a repeat of the step the team took in 2004, bringing out the disastrous TF104B.
Now, however, in the diary section of the f1.panasonic.com website, and in specific an article titled 'On the Gass,' we seem to be receiving mixed opinions from Cologne.
Dieter told the website, "We may bring out a B-version of the TF105 later in the year, but we are looking at a lot of different options at the moment. We do continue the developments of the TF105, of course, but we have not decided yet if we will make a 'TF105B' or just continue with the TF105 with all the new bits and pieces we will put on it. It could be difficult to produce a full 'TF105B' as testing is limited and a new car would need quite a lot of testing. And remember: This is a very busy time for everybody in F1. We have a lot of races in a short time, we try to develop the current car as much as we can, we have already started looking at the car for 2006 - and we are also busy with the new V8 engine for next year."
It looks like we will have to play the waiting game...
