British IT firm to back Toyota F1 for 2003

Toyota's financial future with Formula One looks sound for the 2003 season with the announcement of another sponsorship deal. In keeping with a sponsorship shift across the grid to new technology companies, the team have introduced a new IT firm into their portfolio.

The news was first broken on the ITV-F1 website yesterday (06/01/03). The IT company is British and is touted as being "one of the leading suppliers of software to the motor industry." Ebbon-Dacs is keen to use the sport as a vehicle to promote an international profile. The companies trading logo will appear on the new TF103 when it is unveiled at Paul Ricard tomorrow.

"We are extremely happy that Ebbon-Dacs has joined us as a partner," commented the President of Toyota Motorsport John Howett.

"We are also grateful for their confidence in our potential. Our team is all set for the 2003 season and committed to doing the best to live up to expectations."
