World Champion and World Championship leader Fernando Alonso has been relegated down to tenth place on the grid for tommorow's Italian Grand Prix.
The World Champion was deemed by the race stewards to have impeeded Ferrari driver Felipe Massa when Massa was on his last run of Qualifying. Alonso's penalty was too have his final three fastest laps deleted and drops from 5th to tenth after a toug session for the Renault driver where he picked up a puncture. Alonso denies doing any wrong.
This decision does not affect Toyota as both Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schuamcher failed to make the pole shoot out and finished 11th and 13th respectively.
