Following recent speculation in the media, Red Bull Racing confirm that Christian Klien will continue to race for the team alongside David Coulthard for the next two Grands Prix in Turkey and Monza, with Tonio Liuzzi continuing as third driver.
Word in the paddock at Hungary was that Christian Klien would make way for 'Tonio Liuzzi in the second Red Bull car for the following races. Klien's early exit only seemed to add fuel to that fire, as there would effectively be no penalty in qualification order at Turkey for switching the drivers.
Red Bull Racing, however, obviously have different plans to what was expected as they have now confirmed Christian in the race seat for Turkey and Monza. This will extend Klien's second stint to six races and a total this season of eleven. Liuzzi has driven in four races so far this season, and there are another four left up for grabs following Monza.
The team also confirmed that Liuzzi will remain as Friday test driver for the next two races.
