Red Bull Racing has now completed preparations for the new Formula 1 season at the test sessions on the Circuit de Catalunya, north Barcelona.

The three drivers were able to complete all tests as planned. The tests ranged from individual qualifying runs to a simulated Grand Prix over 66 laps including pit stops.

For the first time, two RB1 were used in the new livery – with tests that were without any technical problems on all four days.

All test programs ran as planned – including long runs, fine tuning in the setup and targeted tire tests.

Attention centered on the reliability of the RB1 and the stableness of the engines. All three pilots completed several Grand Prix distances and reported a very neutral RB1 which showed very calm response in the rear part. The times made in the laps were very encouraging on all days, even if only comparable to a limited extent.
