Awards Galore For Red Bull

Whilst the stop step of the podium has remained elusive for Red Bull so far this season, away from the track top honours are still being gathered by Red Bull.
Yesterday, Chief Technical Officer was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in recognition of his services to motorsport by Her Royal Highness The Queen.
The service, which took place at Windsor Castle, highlighted Adrian for his services to motorsport having designed eight Formula One World Championship winning cars - six with Williams and McLaren and a further two with our team here in Milton Keynes. Working with Red Bull Racing's engineers and designers, Adrian penned the Championship-winning RB7 and RB8, which also helped Sebastian achieve the World Driver's titles in 2010 and 2011.
The British New Years Honours List pays homage to those who have made an outstanding achievement, or service to the United Kingdom.
Nigell Mansell, who won the 1992 Formula One World Championship in a Newey-designed car, was also recognised - with a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for his services to children and young people owing to his work as President of the UK Youth Charity.
So it's Adrian Newey OBE from now on!
The day before, Sebastian Vettel was presented with the 'Grands Prix de l'Academie des Sports 2011' award at Les Invalides in Paris.
The award, presented by the President of the Academy of Sports, Frenchman Emmanuel Rodocanachi and voted for by 50 of its members, recognised the Red Bull Racing driver for his "Double consecutive F1 World Champion at the age of twenty four - winner of eleven Grands Prix 2011 out of nineteen".
Sebastian said:"It's a great honour obviously. To join a lot of great names in sport is something very special. So it's great to be here and great to get the award."
Previous Formula One winners of the award which celebrates 'the author of the finest feat accomplished by athletes in the world last year' include Juan Manuel Fangio (1957), Jim Clark (1965), Jackie Stewart (1973), Nicki Lauda (1977), Alain Prost (1989) and Michael Schumacher (2001).
