For the
WilliamsF1 team day two at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain would see Mark
Webber join Nico Rosberg continue the teams testing in preparation for the
next Grand Prix at San Marino. Again the team was working on improving their
reliability.
It would be a clear day and at
the finish Mark would set the eighth fastest time with a 1m:15.691, while
Nico was down in fourteenth with a time of 1m:15.968. Mark and Nico would
complete eighty six and fifty six laps respectively. For both drivers it
would not be a day free of problems as both were to suffer engine problems
which would see both drivers stop out on the circuit.
WilliamsF1 Test Team Manager
Mike Condliffe said: “Nico continued testing today and was joined by Mark in
good conditions at Barcelona. We had a very varied programme testing some
new mechanical parts for reliability and performance, as well as some more
aero parts. Mark continued the afternoon session with the tyre evaluation
test series that we started yesterday.” |
