At the Vallelunga circuit in Spain the WilliamsF1 team would return to
testing with Alex Wurz the only team driver present. The team was working on
their preparations for the next Grand Prix at Imola.
On a day that would start dry only to be followed by intermittent showers in
the afternoon Alex made his first appearance at this circuit. At the end of
the day Alex would finish with a time of 1m:16.099 to be slowest. He would
complete one hundred & one laps.
WilliamsF1 Test Team Manager Mike Condliffe commented on the days testing.
He said: “Alex Wurz was on duty today for the team, marking his first visit
to the Vallelunga circuit. We spent the morning testing new suspension parts
on both the front and the rear of the car and carrying out some tyre warm up
tests. The afternoon saw Alex complete tyre comparisons for the forthcoming
race at Imola.” |
