The WilliamsF1 team would take to the test track this time at the Circuit de
Catalunya in Spain for a four day test, as the teams prepares their 2006
challenger the FW28 for the opening race in Bahrain.
On
a day that would see it dry in the morning but raining in the afternoon team
drivers Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg would take to the track. The afternoon
rain would limit the drivers track time but at the end of the day it would
be Mark who would set the quickest time with a lap of 1m:17.676, completing
only forty five laps..
There were several red flag incidents during the day one of these caused by
Mark whose car would stop out on the circuit during the afternoon session.
Team-mate Nico Rosberg would complete just sixteen laps setting a time
in the afternoon session of 1m:37.198 to be the slowest driver. The morning
session would see Nico practising starts. Nico would also bring out the red
flag when his Cosworth engine failed out on the circuit. |
