Date set for Button CRB hearing

| It was
announced by WilliamsF1 team head Sir Frank Williams that the hearing to
resolve the contract dispute between WilliamsF1 and BAR, regarding which of
the two teams Jenson Button will drive for in 2005, is set for the day of
the Chinese Grand Prix. Williams said: "I believe it is going to take place on the Sunday of the Chinese Grand Prix. It is an unusual date - but we are trying to find out if that is a good Chinese day or a bad Chinese day." As for when a final decision will be made Williams indicated that the parties may have to wait till after the end of the season. Williams added: "The last time I was up before the board it was about three weeks, I would say, maybe longer. They have to consider all the evidence, discuss it together and look at their notes." |
