| For BMW
WilliamsF1 driver Ralf Schumacher the results of his 2004 season sees him
down the order with just twelve points as he prepares for the European Grand
Prix. But for Ralf the prospect of taking part in this race with out any
real chance of winning is becoming very frustrating.
In
an interview Ralf spoke of his difficult season. He said: "Last year, it was
possible to go for the win here. This year, we have to try to figure what to
go for. We're simply not fast enough, but we knew that beforehand. It's
clear we are struggling at the moment since our car hasn't developed
enough."
As for his performance in qualifying for the European GP, where Ralf posted
the ninth fastest time Ralf added: "Ninth place is not where I expected to
be, really."
Ralf's frustration with his season where Juan Pablo has consistently out
qualified him boiled over when he answered as to his poor qualifying
performances. Ralf said: "Did you ask him why I started in front of him
seven times last season? What angers me is that I'm not able to get the best
out of the car."
As for his future in Formula One Ralf would not be drawn on the subject.
Ralf said: "I won't announce my decision until I know myself where I'll be
driving next season." |
