Hard work continues

With the BMW WilliamsF1 team achieving some excellent race results in the last few Grand Prix, with Ralf winning two races and Juan Pablo one, commentators are now expressing the view that the team is a serious threat to Ferrari and even McLaren for the championships.

But one person who is not yet prepared to get carried away with all the hype is  WilliamsF1 Technical Director Patrick Head. For Head it is very much the case of their been a lot of hard work to be carried out as the prepares for the final six races of the season.

Head said on the BMW Motorsport web site: "There are still six races to come until the end of the season, we will therefore complete one race after the other.

"We started the season with a considerable deficit, but everybody worked hard to improve the performance. It seems as if all pieces are slowly fitting together."

As for the next Grand Prix at Silverstone Head wants the team to concentrate on this race. He added: "All of us will work hard in order to be competitive there."
