Montoya loses licence

| It was
reported that BMW WilliamsF1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has lost his driving
licence while driving in excess of the speed limit in France. Montoya was driving at 204 km/h in his BMW on a motorway between Le Muy and Frejus, when he was stopped by motorcycle policemen. Due to the excessive speed that he was travelling at Juan Pablo had his licence confiscated immediately. The speed limit on French motorways is 130kmh. Montoya's lose of his relates only to his ability to travel on public roads, thus this will not have any affect on his ability to drive a Formula One car. Previously his team-mate Ralf Schumacher had found himself in trouble with the police. |
