New components for FW25

The BMW WilliamsF1 team recently completed testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. After the four days of testing the team came away confident that they are making progress in improving the 2003 FW25. During test drives in Barcelona, the BMW WilliamsF1 Team successfully completed tests of new components of the WilliamsF1 BMW FW25.

In comments to BMW Motorsport WilliamsF1 Technical Director Patrick Head outlined the areas where developments of the car have made progress.

He commented on the developments by saying: "What has really made a difference is a new front wing, which seems to work quite well. And for the first time we were running the new rear suspension that was always intended for the car, in place of the interim system we have had to use since the FW25 was launched."

As for the teams chances in Brazil Head added: "I think that Brazil should suit our car, and hopefully we will have a less bitty race than we had in Malaysia."
