| Jerez Test 12:03:2003 Day One of Three | |
| Once again
the BMW WilliamsF1 team was out testing, as the team continues development
work on the new FW25. The test team was at the Jerez circuit with test
driver Marc Gene carrying out the test duties. With a fine sunny day for the team to test on Marc would continue testing of various components on the new car. At the end of the day his best lap would be a time of 1m:20.362, after completing sixty six laps. Again the team had very good
reliability with the BMW P83 engine running all day long. This would allow
Marc to conduct tyre testing for Michelin. The test team would also work
further on developing a setup on the car once traction control is banned. |
