The second Friday practice session for the 2019 British GP would turn out to be a more difficult one for the ROKiT Williams Team. Both drivers would finish slowest in the times but this time Robert Kubica would finish ahead of team-mate George Russell. Both drivers would set their quickest times.on the soft tyre. But both would finish the session over a second slower than the cars in front. For George his session was also hindered by a gearbox issue that would see him lose a big part of the session as the team worked to fix the issue. Unfortunately he would not return for the later part of the session.
