The opening Friday practice for the 2015 Canadian GP was an encouraging start for the Williams Martini team with Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas finishing in 6th and 11th. The only moment for the either of the drivers was when Valtteri would have a quick spin at the second chicane. Valtteri would appear to focus on a longer run on the soft tyre while Felipe was also out on the soft tyre but would not come back out for his final run until late in the session.
