Australian GP: Williams Martini 4th& 5th in FP3

The final practice session for the 2015 Australian GP would see Williams Martini drivers Valtteri Bottas aqnd Felipe Massa finish in an encouraging 4th & 5th. Both drivers would wait well into the session before they came out for their first run on the medium tyre. Both drivers would return switching to the soft tyre for their qualification simulations.

Team Summary:
The Williams Martini team would see Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa finish in fourth and fifth with the pair separated by just 0.076 after their soft tyre qualification simulations. Valtteri's time was a 1m:28.912 and Felipe a 1m:28.088. It was a trouble free session for both drivers. Quickest was Hamilton with a 1m:27.867. Vettel was second followed by Rosberg in third.

Felipe Massa:
First lap on medium tyre. Pits after installation lap. Felipe out of the car allowing mechanics to do some cleaning of the FW37. Remember that Felipe had a water leak issue in FP2 that saw him stuck in his garage. Forty minutes remaining yet to come out but Felipe in the car with thirty five minutes left. Rosberg now quickest with a 1m:29.364. Felipe would start his flying lap with thirty minutes remaining. His first lap was a 1m:32.483 to be eleventh but there had been yellow flag with the stopped Red Bull of Ricciardo. Felipe would follow up with a 1m:31.269 to be sixth, but he was 1.905 seconds off the quickest time.

Next lap was an improved 1m:30.816 to be fifth. New quickest lap from Hamilton with a 1m:29.128 seeing Felipe now sixth. Felipe had completed ten laps with twenty minutes remaining. Felipe would continue to run despite seeing Valtteri back in his pit. Felipe was running laps in the 1m:31s. Fifteen minutes remaining and Felipe would pit. New quickest lap a 1m:28.939 from Rosberg. Ten minutes and Felipe was back out on soft tyres. Felipe would go quicker and set personal best in sector one. Felipe would set a 1m:29.11 to move into third. Felipe would drop to sixth behind fifth placed Raikkonen. Felipe would continue and would set a 1m:28.988 to move into fifth ahead of Raikkonen.

Valtteri Bottas:
Out first on the medium tyre. One lap then pits. Forty minutes remaining yet to come out. Valtteri joins Felipe in his car ready to come out. Valtteri would be first back out still on the medium tyre. Valtteri starts his flying lap and would finish with a 1m:30.004 to be second behind Rosberg by 0.640s. Valtteri continued to put in the laps running on the medium tyre. Valtteri drops to third with Mercedes first and second.

Valtteri completed eight laps with just under twenty minutes remaining. Valtteri was now 0.876 behind the quickest time and would pit. Valtteri would join Felipe for his stop tyre run. Valtteri would finish his lap with a 1m:28.912 to be second but this would become third as Hamilton went quickest with a 1m:27.867. Valtteri was now fourth as Vettel went second.
