Thanks for everything you've done down through the years & enjoy your retirement (?).

Patrick was and is a legend, but it is obvious to him that he is now a spare part at the team and it is better for him to move on.
His contribution to F1 engineering has been immense, and his efforts will not be forgotten easily by Williams fans.
Thanks Patrick
Now he is retired from F1 at least, I hope we can hear more of his very witty anecdotes and views on things on many podcasts!

yes, williams and patrick head are synonymous. each partner is as well known as each other individually. he was, and i presume still is, a highly talented engineer. those people are rare and should be remembered for their unique contributions.
he is now a very wealthy man and that is the reward i guess for his hard work and endeavours. life goes on however and others will step up to the challenge. he should retire from F1 a very happy man although a 2011 WCC would have been a far more desirable swan song. i'm sure that we'll hear more about the past in the future and that can only be good.
