Ecclestone to halt digital TV coverage
After several years of trying to sell his digital television coverage of Formula One, it is now been reported that Bernie Ecclestone is going to stop this coverage. The Daily Mail newspaper reported that Ecclestone's decision to stop the coverage was because the service has not attracted enough viewers. The coverage was available in Germany, Italy and France, and  the UK through the SKY network. Such news can only be viewed favourably by ITV. It would most likely be the case that ITV's coverage would be improved with many of the features previously available only to digital viewers.
