Both AT&T Williams drivers would be some-what off the pace after the opening Friday practice for the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix. On a very dusty track Kazuki Nakajima and Nico Rosberg would finish the session in tenth and eleventh. Both drivers were around one second off the pace so they do have some time to make up on a track that was hoped would be better suited to the FW31.
