Very soon I suspect. If it isn't 100% then I'd be very surprised to see our KERS in action at the Oz GP. Then again maybe its worth a gamble early doors...

One month to see the FW31, Just like last season we will launch our car at the same day as Renault, I just hope they can unlock it's full potential before Melbourne, would be nice to have KERS already in Australia, it's quite posible

Shame, the blue colour as it turned out was the best part of the FW30

We have carried dark blue and white for the past few years. A couple of last winter's liveries were crackers though.

We cannot afford another sub-standard car. We have got to have a car that will give our race team something to work with.

Williams and proud of it.

The car should be alot different to fw30-modified because unlike BMW, our parts were more than a modified part than a new one.
But I believe even the car that runs in 19Jan, will be different to the one that goes to Australia.still a lot of tests ahead and alot more ideas can be put in the car till the season opener.

I like the sound of black unpainted carbon fibre...

Next best? Lime green would be cool for a change. We need a lime geen race car I think.

Well 2 weeks to go before we see the first 2009 contender
Ferrari on the 15th.

Lets hope we can come up with the goods this time.
We have been a long time out in the cold.
Time to shake the order up again mate.

Happy new year all.

No matter what rules or new concepts, Ferrari always build a good looking car. Tho the currrent rules makes it look like we've travel back in time esp. that front wing:

The new rules should give the cars more presence on the track
Apart drom the new front wing being 6 inches to wide, i like them.

That F60 'sure is pretty' – can't wait till monday for the big day to finally arrive. As for the livery I’m not bothered, although naked black carbon circa 1992 would be awesome! Here’s to our best car since the FW25...

Williams all set to roll out the FW31
Algarve debut with Nico Hulkenberg

Williams Toyota will on Monday unveil its latest challenger, the FW31, in Portugal. Like many this year, the Grove-based squad are not conducting a full blown 'launch' of the new car.

The team revealed that team test driver and F3 Euroseries winner Nico Hulkenberg will conduct the first test and that the FW31 will feature a 'winter test livery'. The 2009 race livery will be unveiled at the end of February.

For Williams and its main rivals, it is now a race against time ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

"Even by the time the car is launched it is out of date," explained Technical Director Sam Michael.
"By that we mean that some parts on it have already been rendered obsolete by other parts developed in the wind tunnel since it was released from design for manufacture."

I hope he doesn't spin it off the track like he did with the FW30 just 1 year ago at Valencia...
