 Jerez Test 10:12:2008 Day Three

Day three of the AT&T Williams test at the Jerez circuit would see the team continue on their preparation for 2009, including set-up work and slick tyre development using an interim FW30. With the weather been sunny all day the team was able to continue on their test schedule.

Rosberg at JerezNico Rosberg would take over from Kazuki Nakajima for the final two days of the team's Jerez test. Nico would complete 122 laps of the 4.428km track (540km in total) and set the eighth fastest time of the day with a 1m:20.309. Early in the afternoon Nico would bring out the second red flag of the day, after missing the chicane at Turn 11.

Williams F1 Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: “Fortunately, it stayed dry all day today which allowed us to clock up the mileage with Nico while continuing our ’09 development and set-up programme. The FW30B modified chassis covered 540 kilometres without encountering any problems and Nico will finish testing the scheduled items tomorrow on the final day of this week’s test.””

Oh dear.

Sato and Buemi quicker than Bourdais.

Looks like curtains for Bourdais.

One of our sponsers (don't remember the name) was going to be with Honda next season to support B.Senna for race seat.now that there's not a strong chance to see them race next season, why STR doesn't think about Senna? they need money for the seat and I think he can bring alot by his name.
