About Nico's tyres there was 2 interesting parts in press confrence (which I'm wondering why there's no thread about it, maybe because we've forgotten posting this one after not being there more often!).
1.Nico's start was on super soft compound because he had no other fresh tyres left.he wasn't happy with the performance of option tyres but needed them for start.this is not the first time they have the same problem.maybe they use too much of tyre sets during practice sessions.
2.on the last stint, Alonso pointed out about his pace and says some of the gap before and after last sc session was because of their tyres when Nico once again suffered with option tyres.

When rosberg locked up his fronts getting past trulli near the start of the race (required in order for his strategy to work) apparently that may have caused black spots on his super soft tyres, which i would imagine caused driving the car difficult until his pitstop

that was exactly another part of his interview where he reckoned his overtaking move on Trulli and he flat spotted (dunno if I'm telling the word right) his tyres and had problems till his first stop.

Alonso
prevailed in a tension-filled 61-lap race which featured two safety car
periods and a number of notable incidents. He started from fifteenth
position on the grid, on Bridgestone's super soft, unlike most of the field,
who started on the soft. He was the first driver to pit, shortly before his
team-mate Nelson Piquet crashed into the barriers, bringing about the first
safety car period, stopping drivers from pitting without penalty until the
pits were reopened. Alonso made his second stop on lap 41 and exited still
in the lead of the race. A second safety car period was brought about by
Adrian Sutil (Force India) hitting the barriers, but Alonso was able to
retain his lead on the restart and cross the finish line for his twentieth
Grand Prix win.
