 Vote of confidence for Nakajima

Ex Williams driver Alex Wurz has given his vote of confidence to the driver that has taken his role at the Williams team, Kazuki Nakajima.

NakajimaKazuki joined the team in 2007 as a test driver but was able to race for the team in Brazil with the departure of Wurz when he retired.

Having worked with Kazuki Alex is in a very good position to comment on the Japanese driver and he rates his highly.

Wurz said: “I think [he is] very good. He is a very clever guy. He listens, and I remember the first test when he came.

“He was young, and I have seen many young guys come, and after 20 laps the neck falls off and they cannot explore the car. And he drove eighty five laps in Jerez and could hold his head still.

“So it meant he put in a lot of effort before, which shows that he knows it is serious. Then the rest will be how can he adjust to the driving style, a bit of luck and so on.”

He should not need a vote of confidence. He should be given a chance.

Thanks for the work Andrew thumbs down

Williams and proud of it.
