| Showers expected for Spa | |
| For this weekends Belgian
Grand Prix it would appear that the weather forecasts have the circuit been
affected by changeable weather conditions. Friday is expected to see a dry day with temperature around 24 degrees. But come Saturday there is a far greater chance of rain This could make qualifying a far more tactical exercise for the teams with most drivers been forced to take to the track early if it is dry to ensure they set a quick time. Come Sunday the the showers are expected to become more frequent. This would make the decision regarding tyres even more difficult. For Michelin they would be hoping for a fully wet race, if it did rain, as their full wet weather tyres have improved to be near that of Bridgestone. But if the showers are light or intermittent the Michelin runners on intermediate tyres will struggle against those of Bridgestone. These changing weather conditions should certainly make the fight for pole and the race victory that much more interesting for spectators, if that much harder for the teams. |
