Barcelona Test 13:02:2007 Day Two

On a day that would start off cold but would become dry and sunny the AT&T Williams team would complete their second day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Again the driving duties would be shared by Nico Rosberg and Alex Wurz. At the end of the day Nico and Alex would finish in ninth and tenth. Nico was only able to complete ten laps. Photos would show Nico stopped at the side of the track with a technical problem with his car, one that required the use of a fire extinguisher. Nico and Alex were split by just 0.039secs.

AT&T Williams Test Team Manager Mike Condliffe commented: “Alex did the majority of testing today and continued with the set-up work started
yesterday as well as working on some cooling characterisation. The work we did
was conclusive, which is always helpful in finding the right direction to make
adjustments. Both Nico and Alex will be driving again here tomorrow.”
