The 2006 Hungarian GP would see the WilliamsF1 team come away with a pair of DNF's. Both Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg retire in what was a race run under very difficult conditions. Mark would hit the barrier damaging his front wing while Nico would have eleectrical problems.

Hungarian GP Race Review

Despite the excitement of the first Grand Prix win for Jenson Button in the Hungarian Grand Prix the result for the WilliamsF1 team was another frustrating one. Both Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg would retire from the race leaving the team with another pointless result.

WebberFor Mark Webber his race would end very early, on lap two. In what were very difficult conditions Mark was to lose control of his car hitting the barriers and damaging the front wing of his car. The wing was stuck in a position  that would not allows Mark to continue, ending his race.

For team-mate Nico Rosberg his race would only last till lap twenty two when he would suffer an electrics problem that would see his engine cut out coming out of Turn one and seeing him forced into retirement. His car would be lifted off the track.

For the team this failure of both cars to finish would again see them come away with little to show for their efforts, apart from the fact that they have now gone eight races without scoring a point. This is frustrating after the team had what could be considered an encouraging start to the season.
