It would again be a struggle for the WilliamsF1 team in the final Hungarian practice session. Mark would finish the session in twelfth while Nico was down in sixteenth after having a spin at Turn Three during the session. Qualifying is again going to be a difficult time for both drivers.

Hungarian GP Saturday Practice

With Fernando Alonso been given a penalty that will see him have two seconds added to his time in each of the three qualifying sessions. The penalty was handed by by race stewards after Alonso was found guilty of dangerous driving in an incident that involved Red Bull's Robert Doornbos. For the WilliamsF1 team today should see an improvement after what was described as a tough
Friday practice for the team. With the weather warmer than yesterday the final practice session would get under way with Sato coming out onto the track first.

WebberWe would also see Alonso come out very early joined by Yamamoto. Sato would pit after his installation lap. MF1's Christijan Albers was next out with the Dutchman facing a ten position grid penalty after an engine change. Alonso was the first driver to set a time with a 1m:25.405. The second MF1 of Monteiro was also out on the track. Albers had pitted. Yamamoto would move into second with a 1m:29.582. Alonso and Monteiro would also pit. Yamamoto would improve his time with a 1m:28.351. After a quick stop Alonso would come back out. The first of the Toyota's, that of Ralf Schumacher, would take to the track. He was joined by team-mate Trulli.

With ten minutes of the session run we only had two timed laps. Alonso's next lap would see an improvement with a 1m:23.092. Barrichello would also leave the pit lane as Ralf moved into second with a 1m:26.142. Yamamoto would pit. Trulli was now in third, 1m:27.617, while Sato was now in fifth. Klien and Speed were in sixth and seventh. We now
had Massa, Button, Mark Webber, and Heidfeld all come out of the pit lane. Alonso would pit while Coulthard moved into third with a 1m:25.925 but team-mate Klien would move ahead of David with a 1m:25.789. Kubica would improve to now be in second, 1m:15.618.

RosbergOn his first lap Button would move into second with a 1m:25.303 but Klien would improve his time to move ahead of the Honda driver, 1m:25.124. Mark was in fifteenth with a 1m:29.283. Nico and Fisichella had both come out leaving just Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher yet to come out. Speed was now fourth with a 1m:25.547. Heidfeld was now in seventh just behind his team-mate. Michael was now out on the track with thirty five minutes left in the session. But the session would be red flagged when Button was to have a major engine failure which can only see him have to face a ten grid position penalty. The marshals would clear away Button's smoking Honda and the session was to continue.

Everyone had returned to their pits as there was a ten minute delay as the track was cleared of the debris from Button's failed Honda engine. The session would get under way with Mark was down in fifteenth and Nico had yet to set a time. Heidfeld would be the first driver to come back out. Mark would also come back out joined by Nico and Albers. Other drivers would come out including
Kubica, Barrichello, Alonso, Klien, Raikkonen, and Michael Schumacher. On his first lap Nico would move into second with a time of 1m:24.381, but was this a practice qualifying run? Mark would move ahead of Nico and take second with a 1m:22.839 but Raikkonen would move ahead of the WilliamsF1 driver with a 1m:22.599. Nico and Mark would pit. Michael would move into seventh

Mark and Nico would both come back out onto the track as de la Rosa moved into second, 1m:22.477. Alonso had returned to his pit leaving just a handful of drivers out on the track as the others prepared for the practice qualifying runs. Rubens was on a quick lap, fastest
in sector one. He would move to the top of the times with a 1m:21.833 but Massa would go faster with a 1m:21.472. Alonso was back out as mark was now in sixth and Nico ninth. Nico was to spin his car at Turn three.

Kubica would move ahead of Barrichello to take second, 1m:21.806. de la Rosa was in fifth ahead of sixth placed Raikkonen. Mark was down in seventh and Nico tenth. Alonso was now in fourth ahead of Klien as everyone came out for their final runs. Mark was now in eighth but with Fisichella moving into fifth and Liuzzi eighth Mark was pushed down to tenth. Nico was now in thirteenth. Everyone was on the track as Massa was still fastest from Kubica, Barrichello, Alonso, Fisichella, Klien, de la Rosa, Liuzzi, Raikkonen and Mark. Michael was on a quick lap going fastest with a time of 1m:20.795. Coulthard would move ahead of Mark seeing Mark drop to twelfth. Nico was in sixteenth.

With the end of the session it would be Michael fastest from team-mate Massa, Kubica, Barrichello, Alonso, Fisichella, Klien, de la Rosa, Liuzzi, and Raikkonen making up the top ten. Mark was in twelfth and Nico sixteenth. Things are still looking difficult for the WilliamsF1 team and qualifying is again going to be a real struggle to make it into Q3 for either driver.
