Day one of the WilliamsF1's four day Jerez test would see Alex Wurz continue with teams development programme for the FW28.
The team would work towards finding a solution to their tyre problems at the
recent French Grand Prix.
It would be a dry and sunny all day on which only three cars took to the
track. Alex would finish the day third fastest. Alex would spend his day
focusing on mechanical set-up, primarily in the suspension. The team is
confident that they have sorted out the issue.
WilliamsF1 Test Team Manager Mike Condliffe commented: “Alex resumed testing
today at Jerez at a relatively empty track. We started with some useful
suspension work this morning followed by tyre construction tests this
afternoon. It will be much busier tomorrow with a full pit lane. Alex will
again be at the wheel of the FW28.” |
