The site has been down for awhile...but between me working my regular job and my trying to start something else up on the side, I've really been robbed of time and ability.I do apologize. business has picked up somewhat, I am no longer on the road 18 hrs a day...I'm now down to 16 hrs!The Hungarian GP is typically the worst GP on the F1 calender, in that it offered little to no opertunity to pass.I'm sure that the stalled rear wing of an F1 racer will finally provide some overtaking and some passing...which is desparetly needed in Hungary.Seriously, if not that, then just save your cash from the F1 tickets...and find a hooker...apparently they are plentiful and easily available.
here we go ...Monoco...

Hey all you SauberF1Team Fans! It’s been a few weeks since I wrote a story here, so let’s try to catch up to the current situation here in Monoco. SauberF1 Team performed well in Spain, with both Perez and Kobayashi racing home in the points...in fact, this was the first time this season that the lads both finished in the points! Qualy is over in Monoco, we all know the result...Perez had a shunt that looked scary...not Kubica scary Canadian GP 2007..that was fucked up. And Robert walked away, with a headache! I remember that accident, cause I was sitting in the grand stand about 200 feet (75 -80 m) away. Perez will not contest the Monte Carlo GP. He has sustained a skull (head) injury, a concussion, so he’s done. Skull injuries are easy to identify and observe, yet difficult when it requires someone (doctor) to say, “sorry, you can’t play...” We’ve seen the same thing with Sidney Crosby, arguably the best hockey player on the ice today. He got concussed...and missed the rest of the season because of it. We’ve lost potentially great players because of concussions...Eric Lindros comes to mind...he represents the greatest talent lost to injury...and there are others. Perez will hopefully recover; I know my prayers are there for him... mikel
Turkey Qualifying 2011

Not exactly the best of times for Sauber f1Team today, to say the least. Koybyashi had a 'fuel delivery' issue that gob smacked his Saturday run...could be a fuel pump issue, maybe a fuel delivery system, maybe the whole ignition system...who knows, it just sucks to see the young fella start at the tail end. If Sauber is smart about this, they will start him from the pit lane, new fresh tires and a whole different fuel strategy.

Hey all SauberF1Team fans! I'm sure you've been as busy as i was in the past few weeks as I was! Small update from here...it's finally stopped raining which is a small relief, it's nice to see the sun every once in a while! It's been cool here, avg temps probably around 5-6C. Which is low...really low!Considering the fact I live close to Montreal...the Canadian GP, It's been really wet and cool this spring, there was a blizzard in Saskachewan yesterday...ya, we love our snow here! Weather forecasts, longer term, seem somewhat favourable, yet still wet. Who knows what the Canadian GP will bring! Oh wait...I know...pictures! I'm going!
Kobayashi gets a point in China for Sauber

The Sauber F1 Team is leaving China after the third race of the 2011 season with another point thanks to a good race for Kamui Kobayashi, who finished tenth in his Sauber C30-Ferrari. It was an action packed race at the Shanghai International Circuit and Sergio Pérez was certainly part of that as, like Kamui, he was fighting from start to finish for positions. For two incidents the Mexican was penalised with a drive through and a ten second stop and go, and eventually finished 17th.

Hey all! This is a shout out to all SauberF1 Team fans...lets ramp this shit up and in the words of my mentor (Larry, the cable guy...) let's git er done!So...Ive been really busy with work lately....extended hours and non mandatory overtime...but I got it done, can't remember when exactly it started, but it was after Christmas.We've had two full GP's since my last blog...lets see if I can catch up...
The Australian GP and other news...

Hey hey Sauber fans !How are you all doing tonight? Ya...me too, tired and cranky! Newest news ( that I'm convinced you all got) is that Sergio took a sprint run through Guadalajuara, Mexico...his 'home town'. Profit! Now we gear up for Barcelona again...hopefully with those 'aero packages' we've all heard about these last few weeks...and no, not just Sauber, but Mercedes, and McLaren, and Renault...will they bring them and run them before Australia? With the Pirellies that degrade superfast? Gonna make for some great talk, some great photos, and even greater controversies! My opinion...they will...however briefly...ya know ya gotta get a leg up somehow! And if you all don't mind, Id like to welcome back the Australian GP as the first GP of the season...as it should be...we really don't need to race in the sand Bernie...get it fixed ya tosser! Robert is doing quite well, spank you all you shits that said he should stick to the (dangerous) racing in f1...what a bunch of buffoons! Get well soon Robert...your in all of our prayers.... Mikel

Don't know about anyone else, but I really saw this one coming in from 1.54 kilometres away...which doesn't make me or anyone else prescient, however I am simply fucking observant.
Here we meet again for another of my 'op ed' pieces ...

Today also marked the tenth anniversery of Dale Earnheart Sr.'s death on the final lap of the Daytona 500 in 2001while supporting both Michael Waltrip and his son, Dale Jr. In a final push to the finish line. Waltrip finally won his first ever race that day...however Dale Sr. Suffered what appeared to be push into the wall...nothing overly traumatic, or spectacular, nor feiry. Dale Sr. Lost his life that afternoon...and as we have found out since then...neither Waltrip nor Dale Jr. Knew the true extent of the accident that afternoon.
It's time the pundit's shut their cake holes...

Jacques said he quit...and at the time I believed it. I stopped believing it watching the Q's of the following GP's...the car was a bit of a dog, but this guy managed to bring it up a bit...how would you say...fight above his weight.
