  • Smaller teams to benefit from Arrows demise

    Scant details have emerged of a rumoured deal between the F1 pack and Bernie Ecclestone aimed at making life easier for the smaller teams this season. It looks as if the demise of the Arrows team will benefit the sport at large - pity the same didn't happen when Prost collapsed.

  • Arrows is wound up for good (sob)

    According to grandprix.com the Arrows team were officially wound up yesterday after a court action, led by Heinz-Harald Frentzen, went unopposed. It is highly likely that the remaining team assets will now be split up and sold off.

  • Arrows noticeably absent from Autosport

    The annual Autosport show at the NEC is the first 'F1 fix' of the year for most F1 fans, and a unique chance to get really close to the F1 machinery we have been watching on our TV screens during the previous year. On the F1 racing grid there was a very obvious gap in the line up of cars.

  • Arrows attracts interest say receivers

    At last a small ray of hope. After all the doom and gloom over the collapse of the Behring deal, and the appointment of official receivers, there now look to be signs of a potential recovery. Fingers crossed that such a recovery takes place on the F1 grid!

    As we did for Christmas, this site would like to wish all visitors a very Happy New Year. As yet we do not know what 2003 holds for what is left of the Arrows team, although grandprix.com is reporting that receivers of the team assets have now been appointed.

    There seems to be a media frenzy at the moment, all focussing on the doom and gloom surrounding the current court case, being heard this week in London. This site is steering clear at the moment, hoping that the FIA appeal will provide us with some more positive news.

  • Arrows in trouble if appeal unsuccessful

    Yesterday (Thursday) it was reported that Oliver Behring had set Arrows a deadline to get an audience with the F1 Commission, in order to appeal against the rejection by the FIA of Arrows’ 2003 Championship entrance application. It would appear that the team have been successful in doing just that.
