I have no idea what's going at Ferrari at the moment but why is VET so far off LEC? For a 4x WDC it really doesn't make any sense. On current form I can't see any logic in replacing PER with him.

So, forget the rest of the season, how will he get on at Aston? He's up against another golden child who may possibly be favoured. I very much expect that will have been part of the contract though.

Personally I still that without a dominant car and a slower team mate he makes far too many mistakes under pressure.

He's just going through the motions. Not bothering. Didn't he have a season like this before going to Ferrari?

Certainly, he doesn't deserve to replace Perez. And yes, far too many mistakes. Is there something else going on here? Will it make Lance look better if he beats a demotivated Seb? Or is it about selling Aston Martins to Germans?

He's on average 3 tenths off from Charles.
Not a big deal, quite normal if Charles is something phenomenal.

Why did he replace Perez? Another simple answer.Their stock value raised by 15% with his signing.I think that's enough for a reason.

His on track performance can be valuable for Lance too.
If he beats Lance, it's a 4times WDC, quite normal.
If he's beaten, Lance will be given way more credit.

I don't see any better move from Stroll tbh.

I think Vet might beat Lance but it will be very close.
