Miami GP: Tough race for Williams Racing
By Williams Racing
May 6 2024
The 2024 Miami GP would turn out to be probably the toughest race for Williams Racing so far in the 2024 season. Despite a promising Sprint the team would again suffer from a lack of pace but combined with this was an incident with Logan Sargeant and Magnussen that would see Logan crash into the barrier to retire after Magnussen attempted a pass which saw the two cars make contact. Magnussen would later receive a penalty for this. For Alex Albon he would finish his race but could only manage 19th. Alex would again suffer from tyre management issues that saw him struggle all race. Added on to the this was the timing of a Safety car that would impact both Alex and Logan. Overall a race with very little to take away from but hopefully with updates coming in the next race in Imola the team will make a step forward.
